What we collect

Information you give us

We only collect what you type into one of our two forms. Nothing on this site asks for information in the background.

The tour request and enrollment inquiry form asks for:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your child’s first name and age
• The program you’re interested in and your desired start date
• How you heard about us, and any message you choose to write

The tour booking form asks for:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• The program you’re interested in
• The date and time you’d like to visit

Your child’s name and age are optional context that helps us point you to the right classroom. We do not ask for a date of birth at this stage; it is collected later, during enrollment, when it is needed for classroom placement, eligibility, and enrollment records. If you’d rather not share them before you visit, leave them blank or write us directly instead.

Information collected automatically

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and stores nothing in your browser. We do not build a profile of you and we do not track you across other websites.

Like nearly every website, the server that hosts these pages may keep standard access logs recording your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These logs are kept by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes, not used by us for marketing.

How we use it

We use what you send us to:

• Reply to your question or confirm your tour
• Prepare for your visit and answer enrollment questions
• Follow up about availability, waitlists, or your requested start date

Email addresses submitted through website inquiries are used to communicate with you about your inquiry, enrollment information, and occasional ESPIN promotions. They are not added to a general newsletter or marketing list; if ESPIN ever creates one, joining it will require your separate, explicit opt-in. We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers.

Third-party services

A few parts of this site rely on outside companies. Each one receives only what is described here, and each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with that data.

• Amazon Web Services: hosts this website and runs the system behind our forms. When you submit a form, what you typed is sent to our own service on AWS and stored there so our team can read and reply to it. AWS also delivers the email that tells our director your request has arrived, and serves the pages and images you are looking at now, which means it receives your IP address like any web host.
• Google Fonts: supplies the typefaces used on these pages. Loading a font sends your IP address and basic browser information to Google.
• Google Maps: we link to our map listing, and the contact page can show a map of our address. The map is not loaded until you press “Show map”. Google receives information about you only if you press that button or follow the link.

Children’s privacy

This website is written for parents and caregivers, not for children, and nothing on it is directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly allow children to submit information here.

The only information about a child that this site ever collects is the first name and age a parent or guardian chooses to enter on the tour request form. ESPIN does not publish a child’s name alongside their photograph; a child’s name appears only where a parent independently includes it in a review and authorizes that use. If you believe a child has submitted information to us on their own, contact us and we will delete it.

Who we share it with

When you submit a tour request or booking, the details you entered are emailed to our director so that someone sees it promptly and can get back to you. That email goes only to an ESPIN address, and replying to it replies to you.

Inside ESPIN, your inquiry is seen by the director and the staff involved in tours and enrollment. Outside ESPIN, we share information only with the service providers listed above, and only so they can do the job we hired them for.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, if a licensing or child-protection authority requires it, or if it is necessary to protect the safety of a child, our staff, or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep website tour requests and enrollment inquiries for 12 months. Records that another legal or operational retention requirement obliges us to keep are retained for as long as that requirement applies.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about your family, correct anything that’s wrong, or delete your inquiry. Send requests to ESPIN administration at ssuarez@espinpreschool.com or 908-688-8250. The owner or an authorized administrator reviews each request, and we record who handled it and when. A record is not deleted where a retention or legal requirement obliges us to keep it; in that case we will tell you.

You are never required to use these forms. If you’d rather not submit anything online, call us or stop by and we’ll help you the same way.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions are transmitted securely to our provider. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, though, so please don’t send medical details, financial information, or other sensitive records through these forms. We’ll tell you the right way to send those when the time comes.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
